365 Days of Thanksliving — Day 277

“Vivid dreams are back!” That was the claim, anyway… and well, they weren’t wrong.
VanMan miracle tooth powder is a product we started using about three months ago, figuring we’d try something new with an ingredient list we could actually pronounce. We kept hearing the ads from our favorite podcasters—who, of course, are getting paid serious cha-ching to shill the stuff.
We figured, why not give it a try? What did we have to lose? Sure, the products are pricey, but what if the claims were true? So, using the obligatory promo codes to save a buck or two, we made our first purchase. One week later, our new oral hygiene products arrived. At first, all’s we could say was, “That’s different.”
And all ye native Minnesotans know exactly the level of polite, passive-aggressive shade that expression carries. Hahaha!
Anyway, within a couple of weeks, I noticed my dreams were becoming intense, memorable, and far more vivid. Before using the “miracle tooth powder,” I seldom remembered my dreams. But now, uffdah Lewis, three to four nights a week I’m dreaming, and often, it's some uber-trippy stuff—like something straight out of Alice in Wonderland.
All’s I know is that shortly after closing my eyelids, it’s not too long before I’m chasing rabbits with Alice down the rabbit hole. Wonder how long it’ll be before I encounter the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, or that cruel, short-tempered Queen of Hearts.
VanMan wasn’t wrong. Vivid dreams are back in my head, and, well… many of them feel like I’ve just taken a massive rip from a hookah pipe filled with hashish… or something. I really wouldn’t know; I’ve never touched a toke of the wacky weed in my life.
Maybe I should start documenting this nocturnal insanity; it’d probably make for a bestselling sci-fi novel for y’all. Hehehe!!! Odd as it sounds, though, I’m actually kinda grateful for the free nightly entertainment. Many mornings I awake scratching my head, wondering what alternate dimension I just escaped from.
Perhaps one day I’ll get another genuine “God dream” amidst the chaos and write that one down. If the Good Lord gives me the green light to share it with you all, you'd better hold on tight. Because if I do, I'll be dragging every last one of you down the rabbit hole right alongside me.
Anyway, what bizarre, weirdly trippy aspect of your life are you thankful for tonight?
