One’s Dead. One’s Faithful. One Makes Jesus Sick
Revelation 3: Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea

The church Jesus said was already dead. The one He praised. And the one that made Him sick. — Revelation 3 explained.
Pastor Jason Bonnicksen continues the Revelation Bible study series at New Hope Lutheran Church, diving into Revelation 3 — the letters to the churches of Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.
The church in Sardis had a reputation for being alive, but Jesus said they were dead — asleep at the wheel, living in sin, their garments soiled. The church in Philadelphia kept His word and refused to deny His name, and Jesus had nothing but encouragement for them. And the church in Laodicea — wealthy, self-sufficient, and lukewarm — was the one Jesus said He would spit out of His mouth. Sound like any church you know?
